New protests erupted in Eugene, Oregon after the police were forced to shoot an African American Muslim man when he attacked officers with a knife. Black Lives Matter and Antifa took advantage of the incident to incite activists and liberals who are easily misled to come out to the streets and cause disruption.

Officers shot 26-year-old Muhsin Sharif after he allegedly charged at them while wielding a knife. Police were responding to a call regarding a domestic disturbance on Monday. Sharif allegedly violated a protective order. When the officers arrived on the scene they found the suspect in an alleyway. The violation that Sharif allegedly committed calls for an arrest so the police had to take him into custody.

When the officers were about to arrest Sharif, he attacked them with a knife. The responding police officers were forced to shoot him to neutralize the attack. Officers administered first aid to Sharif and called in an ambulance. The suspect was then taken to a hospital where he is reportedly in critical condition.

It does not matter to the BLM activists what the story is behind the shooting. They do not really care even if Sharif was really threatening the lives of the police officers or that he has a criminal record and that the police were responding to protect people from him.

It seems that all the individuals that the BLM are elevating to the level of martyrs now have questionable records if not outright criminal history. The same thing is true with George Floyd who was so high on drugs on the day of his arrest that it actually killed him, contrary to the claims by progressive groups that it was the knee on his neck the killed him. Breonna Taylor too was involved in some criminal activity through her boyfriend before she was shot during a police operation.

The activists do not care about those details, all they want is to cause some disruption and trouble. They don’t really bother with the details.
