Dr. Fauci Cancels Christmas
It seems that Dr. Anthony Fauci is determined to cancel Christmas as he warned Americans against traveling during the Christmas holiday. If people obeyed Fauci, then the traditional Christmas celebrations will be canceled for this year for millions of families.
The doctor gave the warning when he appeared on MSNBC on Thursday. Host Andrea Mitchell asked Fauci whether people should now cancel their holiday travel plans. “I think they’re going to have to make individual decisions, but I think we need to, as a nation, seriously consider the things that we in the public health arena have been talking about, of minimizing travel to the extent possible,” Fauci said.
“Sometimes it’s absolutely necessary, but to the extent possible, don’t travel; don’t congregate together,” the doctor added. “I know how difficult that is. We all have a strong degree of empathy knowing—and myself included—about wanting to be with your family, wanting to have a large Christmas dinner with family and friends over. Right now, that just should not be done. To the best of our capabilities, we should avoid travel and avoid congregate settings.”
Democrat officials are also targeting Christmas for cancelation now after they have done their best to ruin Thanksgiving. It seems that Dr. Fauci is a good fit for the possible Biden administration. He agrees with their idea of lockdowns and the canceling of social gatherings.
Fauci was reported to be meeting with the Biden transition team to discuss the government’s coronavirus response. Biden has already expressed that he would like to retain Dr. Fauci should he get to the White House.
Joe Biden has said that he would like to retain Fauci on his COVID-19 response team. “I asked him to stay on in the exact same role he’s had for the past several presidents, and I asked him to be a chief medical adviser for me as well and be part of the COVID team.”
