Trump Rings the Alarm to Overturn Election Results
Despite the setbacks in his legal battle, on Wednesday, President Donald Trump rang the alarm urging Republicans to overturn the election results over allegations of voter and election fraud.
Speaking in a public hearing at a hotel in Gettysburg, Trump urged GOP supporters to keep on challenging former Vice President Joe Biden’s win. “They have to turn over the results,” The President said. He explained that while some people might tell him to wait for four more years to question the results, Trump insisted that the “election was lost by the Democrats, they cheated. It was a fraudulent election.”
During the hearing, witnesses attested that they had observed numerous election irregularities, specifically among mail-in ballots. He also presented countless signed affidavits that that irregular activity had indeed taken place. To prove his accusations, Trump cited that Republican poll watchers were treated like a “dog” and barred from watching the actual counting process. He continued by saying election workers turned aggressive against the GOP watchers.
The President added another fraudulent incident noting that some people wanted to vote but were barred from doing so after election officers noted that a mail-in ballot was already sent into their names. The President also alleged that mail-in ballot requests were made by people who were already dead.
In addition, the President even noted that he had caught Democrats spying on his campaign. He shared that “weird things” had happened which can only be done, not by machines but by humans. The President believed that the Democrats were sloppy in hiding their fraudulent election tactics, citing the sudden jump in votes which were added during the wee hours of the morning.
The President then vowed that he could not let Democrats get away from cheating the 2020 elections. He also blasted against judges who had refused to take up his case because of the threats they had received if they ever attempted to contest the election results. Despite the numerous setbacks, Trump remained firm in his decision to fight his way to the election results.
“We have to turn the election over because there’s no doubt.” While key Republican figures such as Rush Limbaugh and former House Speaker Chris Christie have criticized the President’s legal team for the lack of evidence, the President claims that he is confident with the evidence and affidavits they have gathered. The President shared that they have gathered enough e to prove their way in court; however, the only thing they needed is a competent judge to accept their case. Finally, the President concluded his speech by thanking his personal legal adviser, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, for keeping the fight.
While the President continued to contest the results, he had also given the green light to White House admin officials to allow Biden’s transition process.
