On Sunday, President Donald Trump’s legal team distanced themselves from Attorney Sidney Powell after news broke out that she had been dropped from the team.

In a statement made by Trump’s legal adviser, attorney Rudy Giuliani, he clarified that in no way does Powell work on behalf of the legal team nor does represent the President in his personal capacity. “Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team,” Giuliani said.

According to a report from Breitbart News, the president’s legal team hoped to work with Powell, given her outstanding track record in defending former National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. Powell, who is a strong conservative supporter, was able to help Flynn withdraw his guilty plea, and find additional evidence to prove that there is a conflict of interest in the Department of Justice who was tasked to investigate Flynn.

However, things took a different turn when Powell made hard to prove allegations of election fraud. She believed that the Dominion voting machines, which were operated by Smartmatic were rigged. Based on the Attorney’s theory, the software can be manipulated to switch votes from the President, and into his opponent, former Vice President, Joe Biden. In addition, Powell claims that Dominion had worked with other foreign interests such as Venezuela.

In addition, Powell also alleged that Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger who consider themselves as Republicans might have something to do with changing the results of the state’s voting results to turn it into Biden’s favor. In a statement on Saturday night, Powell claimed that Georgia is the first state that she’s going to “blow up.” In fact, she even referred to the campaign team as “biblical.” However, Powell is yet to prove her allegations in court.

Despite the team’s denial, Powell claimed that she understands the move. In an interview with CBS News, the attorney claimed that she truly understands the reason behind the press release. However, despite the statements, Powell vowed to continue to stand for Trump voters who were denied an electoral win by a wide scale election fraud. Interestingly, Powell left a scathing warning on her social media post, “The chips will fall where they may, and we will defend the foundations of this great Republic,” the attorney wrote, adding the phrase, “#KrakenOnSteroids.”

Powell’s client, Flynn also spoke on behalf of his counsel. He claimed that the attorney has been temporarily restricted from Twitter for 12 hours. However, Flynn assured that Powell would continue to fight for the votes that were robbed as a result of election fraud.

Over the course of the President’s high-pressure legal battle to contest the election results, Trump had specifically cited in one of his tweets that the Attorney was a part of his team. In addition, Powell also appeared alongside Giuliani in several press briefings on behalf of the President’s legal contest.

In another statement, Powell released another lengthier response. The attorney reiterated that she understands the reason behind the White House’s statements. However, Powell claimed that she had collected all the “chips” to prove an “overwhelming” proof that the software tool that was used can be manipulated. “It will be epic,” Powell warned.
