Rapper-actor Ice Cube defended his decision to work with the Trump campaign on his plan for Black America. Ice Cube appeared on CNN to explain why he’s working now with the President and his people. He also told his critics to spend time telling the Biden campaign to start doing more for Black America.

He was interviewed by CNN’s Chris Cuomo who has been largely discredited because of the stunt that he tried to pull when he was supposedly infected with COVID-19. Ice Cube discussed his “Contract With Black America,” which is a plan that he had come up with earlier in the year to help address the racial inequality in American today. The plan offers concrete steps that are aimed at solving the problems that face many black families today. The plan calls for police and prison reform. At the same time, it aims to give out loans that are free of interest to those who want to become homeowners.

Ice Cube said that the campaigns of both presidential candidates contacted him in regard to the plan. He also added that he has never met the President in person yet. “I didn’t run to go work with any campaign. Both campaigns contacted me,” Ice Cube said. “Both campaigns wanted to talk to me about the Contract with Black America. One campaign said, ‘We love what you have, but let’s really dig into after the election.’ And one campaign said ‘We love what you have, do you mind talking to us about it?’ And that’s what I did, so I didn’t run to nobody.”

He added that he is not playing political games and clarified that he is not fighting for minorities in general. He specifically said that he is doing what he is doing for Black Americans. He admitted that he has shown more interest in his plan. The rapper has faced a great deal of criticism from the left because of his willingness to work with Trump. He explained that whoever wins the election will definitely hear from him.
