Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyer threatened to sue Joe Biden on Wednesday for smearing his client. This comes after the former vice president tweeted a video that identified the young man as a white supremacist. There is no evidence identifying Rittenhouse as a white supremacist. The young man is currently facing charges for shooting down three rioters. Two of the criminals that he shot died later on. Rittenhouse’s camp has argued that he acted in self-defense because the rioters have attacked him, as was clearly shown by video.

The video that Biden’s campaign shared played an audio clip from the debate in which President Trump was claiming that he would denounce white supremacists. The text on the video claimed that the President failed to do so despite his claim. One part of the video showed Rittenhouse while he was in Kenosha holding his rifle.

The lawyer Lin Wood also represented Nick Sandmann in lawsuits against media outlets like CNN. “In addition to suing Facebook for being falsely accused of being mass murderer, Kyle Rittenhouse has defamation claim against Joe Biden for falsely accusing him of being white supremacist & militia member responsible for violence in Kenosha,” Wood tweeted.

The Biden campaign is trying to deflect that he has refused to denounce Antifa and Black Lives Matter who have caused real damage to cities all over America. The President has called him out for that but like with other issues, but he has just deflected it like with other issues. Biden has even claimed that Antifa is not an actual movement.

John Pierce, another Rittenhouse lawyer sad that “Kyle is not a racist or a white supremacist. He is a brave, patriotic, compassionate law-abiding American who loves his country and his community.”

“Formal demand for public retraction is being prepared for the Biden/Harris Campaign on behalf of Kyle Rittenhouse,” Wood tweeted.

“I also hereby demand that @JoeBiden immediately retract his false accusation that Kyle is a white supremacist & militia member responsible for violence in Kenosha,” he added.
