On Thursday night, a couple of elderly women stood up to Portland’s destructive protesters and rioters only to be disrespected and thrown paint at.

According to Portland-based KGW-TV, two residents of Portland, both 70-year-old women, stood up against the protesters who vandalized and destroyed Portland Police Bureau’s East Precinct.

Tired of seeing her neighborhood get vandalized and burned down by the Antifa thugs, 77-year-old Cobey put on a brave face and stood in front of the precinct and held her ground, until protesters started throwing paint on her. Protesters dumped paint on top of her and tossed yellow caution tape on her head.

“I just got heated under the collar and said ‘Hey, this is not OK. This is my neighborhood; you’re not helping my Black friends,’” Cobey said. “It’s not OK to destroy property. You can say what you have to say but be part of the solution, not part of the problem.”

“This isn’t your world anymore! You ruined it for us,” an angry demonstrator can be heard shouting at Cobey in the moments after she was splashed with paint. “Our black friends are dying!”

On the other side of the precinct was 73-year-old Penny, who brought her fire extinguisher, her homemade Black Lives Matter sign, and put out the flames in the precinct. The protesters showed her no mercy as they threw paint all over her and was not even a little concerned about the elderly woman’s safety and well-being, seeing that she made her way through the precinct with her walker.

“Wednesday night, they broke windows, it was a real mess,” Penny told KGW. “I’m very, very pro-Black Lives Matter,” she added. “But I just think vandalism sabotages the message.”

The fire, which Penny tried hard to put out, was eventually started again by the protesters after soaking Penny with paint.

The protests in Portland have been going on for weeks, with the local government doing little to nothing to contain it.
