James Woods Fires Back At Pelosi After Calling Trump “Morbidly Obese,” Says House Speaker Is “Morbidly Corrupt”
Actor James Woods weighed in on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s statement calling President Donald Trump “morbidly obese.”
On his Twitter account, the actor shared a photo of the House Speaker and simply captioned it with “Morbidly corrupt.” Two words. But it stung.

The tweet came as a response after Pelosi fat-shamed the President. On Monday, in an interview with CNN, Anderson Cooper asked Pelosi about Trump’s claim that he had been taking hydroxychloroquine to protect himself from the Wuhan virus. The left-wing House Speaker responded, saying that the President shouldn’t be taking the drug since it was not yet approved by medical experts. She also added that the President is vulnerable given his “age group” and “weight group,” then she added that Trump was “morbidly obese.”
“I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group, and in his, shall we say, weight group: ‘Morbidly obese,’ they say,” says House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Pres. The President also got back at the House Speaker on Tuesday after he was asked about her statements. However, Trump chose to dismiss Pelosi, saying that “she’s a waste of time.” But he didn’t fully let her comments slide, as he said that “Pelosi is a sick woman, she’s got a lot of problems, a lot of mental problems.” The President even recommended that she needs to visit a psychiatrist.
Woods’ “morbidly corrupt” tweet garnered support from other social media pundits and gave Pelosi a taste of her own medicine.
One user said that Pelosi was “morbidly old and getting dementia.” Just like her presidential candidate, fellow Democrat Sleepy Joe Biden.

Another said she was “morbidly drunk.”

And one labeled her “morbidly hypocritical” and attached photos of the House Speaker wearing her face mask wrong.
