The Jerusalem Post reported that an Israeli NGO, Shurat HaDin had filed a class-action lawsuit against Communist China’s failure to mitigate and take responsibility for the deadly pandemic.

According to the said report, the NGO which focuses on stopping terrorist groups claimed that countries could not commit a grievous “act of terror” and simply get away with it. The media outlet added that China could not use its own sovereignty as an excuse to avoid accountability, “China should not be able to avoid its own alleged failure in containing the virus.”

The organization has a long-established reputation. Over its 15 years of operation, Shurat HaDin was able to achieve massive success. The list includes winning a whopping $2 billion in judgments, halting more than $600 million in terms of terror assets, as well as collecting $300 million in damages. However, despite winning numerous million dollar cases, the organization solely relies on donations and provides free services for its victims.

In fact, the group’s director, Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, was able to win against a ruling on Palestinian Authority for civil damages for its terrorist attacks. The war crimes which took place during the Second Intifada can amount to 1 billion shekels.

For Attorney Rachel Weiser, who had worked with the said NGO, they have recently passed a law which requires the Palestinian Authority to accept the jurisdiction of United States courts, whenever they received aid from the country. Which is why Weiser claimed that Israel turned down US aid, and might also be for the best as it stops the flow of both money and terror.

Shurat HaDin is not the only one wanting to make China pay for the massive damages brought by the coronavirus pandemic. In fact, Germany had recently sent a $130 billion invoice to the communist country for the damages brought by China’s failure to mitigate the virus. In the UK, brits also blamed China, citing their “utter contempt,” for the spread of COVID-19.

As if to make matters worse, France has also summoned the Chinese ambassador in Paris, after allegations came out that Communist China had criticized the French’s response on coronavirus. However, China continued to deny such accusations.

In the US, several Republican senators believed that it is important to make China pay for massive damages. GOP senators, Marsha Blackburn, and Sen. Martha McSally introduced a “Stop COVID Act” aimed to make China accountable. Even Sen. Lindsey Graham claimed that if Iran is the “largest state sponsor of terrorism,” Communist China, on the other hand, is responsible for being the “largest state sponsor of pandemics,” and that the US must impose heavy sanctions against the country.

Currently, China faces four other federal class-action lawsuits that are all aimed to make the country pay trillions of dollars in damages.
