Customers from a grocery store in Kingston, Massachusetts, came in together as they tackled a man who allegedly coughed and spat on the food.

Kyle Mann, the person behind the viral Facebook video, described the situation as “Some guy at Stop and Shop in Kingston was coughing and spitting on the produce, he didn’t last long.” The video featured at least three people who have successfully pinned the man on the ground. Mann added that “He fought an employee and good customers took him down until the cops arrived.”

According to the Kingston Police, the 65-year-old man was caught spitting on the produce last Saturday. His creepy act had led customers to tackle him to prevent even more damage. The man who was from Duxbury was later taken to a hospital to get a coronavirus test. However, officials believe that he might not be affected by the virus. Kingston police claimed that the man might face assault and battery charges, as well as the destruction of property.

Just last month, a woman named Margaret Ann Cirko, from Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, was also caught coughing and spitting on $35,000 worth of grocery store produce, including meat and other merchandise. According to Pennsylvania Police, the 35-year-old woman was charged with terrorist threats, including one count of using a “biological agent” and another for criminal mischief.

Unfortunately, while the rest of the world tried to remain cautious to finally mitigate and resolve the pandemic, others refused to be onboard. In Mexico, a high ranking government official also went on a spitting spree after the hospital staff refused to give him “preferential treatment.”

Dr. Daniel López Regalado came to Presidente C. Juárez General Hospital in Oaxaca after complaints that he was ill, in which Regalado received ambulatory care. As the man responsible for overseeing the state health board, Regalado reported that he was experiencing symptoms of the deadly virus, including cough, fever, diarrhea, as well as difficulty breathing.

After receiving a coronavirus test, the health official tested positive and was hospitalized. During his stay, Regalado began coughing and spitting at the hospital staff because he did not receive preferential treatment. He was later detained and had been reportedly fired from his position for putting people at risk.

While some resort to more drastic measures, others also continue to violate President Donald Trump’s strict stay-at-home order. Despite the president’s grave warnings of a “very painful two weeks ahead,” local residents continued to go on beach trips in California.

According to San Diego’s sheriff’s office, the county had already issued 22 citations for those who continued to ignore strict health and safety guidelines. Officials cited that violators were caught “watching the sunset” or “having picnics.” This led the sheriff’s department to post a tweet, warning those who failed to comply with the stay-at-home order. The police urged the public that “Complacency is the enemy. Take social distancing more seriously to stop coronavirus.”
