Podcast superstar and comedian Joe Rogan said that he would vote for Trump rather than Joe Biden. He made the statement on his “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast while talking to his guest Eric Weinstein. He did not hold back at all when their talk tackled politics. Weinstein first said that there were no viable candidates for Americans to vote come November. That was when Rogan made the bold statement that he would rather vote for Trump than vote for Biden.

He had some strong words against the Democratic Party, “They’ve essentially made us all morons with this Joe Biden thing,” Rogan said. He added that Biden would be relying entirely on his cabinet and that he cannot handle communicating on his own. Rogan is worried about what Biden’s condition would be one year after being in office. The host further said that former presidents like Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama visibly aged when they came into office. The pressure of being the president was just too much that it took a physical toll on them. President Trump is different, however, since he seems to be as strong and as aggressive now as he was on the first day of his presidency. He added that Trump seems to be fine at handling the pressure of being in office.

Rogan is a well-known supporter of Biden’s rival, Bernie Sanders. Earlier this year, the Sanders campaign promoted the Rogans endorsement of the Senator from Vermont. It was a highly controversial endorsement since Rogan has made many statements on and off his podcast that has offended a lot of people on the left. There is a mounting pressure now for the Sanders campaign to disavow Rogan after he made the statement of voting for Trump rather than Biden.

Rogan’s concern is quite valid since a lot of people have cited the visible decline in Biden’s cognitive capacities. One of the latest missteps that the Biden campaign was during their virtual town hall, during which the former vice president can be seen wandering away from the view of the camera while continuously talking, seemingly unaware of what he was supposed to be doing.
