Former White House physician Ronny Jackson said they had to hide cauliflower in mashed potatoes in an attempt to make President Trump eat healthier.

Trump enjoys eating fast food, especially burgers, lots of ketchup, and diet Cokes. Jackson confessed his tricks to the New York Times, claiming they even had to hide the ice cream.

“The exercise stuff never took off as much as I wanted it to, but we were working on his diet. We were making the ice cream less accessible, we were putting cauliflower into the mashed potatoes,” said Jackson.

In 2018, Jackson stated Trump had done “exceedingly well” on his cognitive test and Jackson assumes he has “incredible genes.” Jackson also announced he intended to help the president lose 10 to 15 pounds by putting an elliptical or bike machine in the White House.

“I told the President that if he had a healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200 years old,” Jackson said.

Jackson is currently running for a seat in Congress to represent Texas’s 13th congressional district in the 2020 election.
