The lawyer was catapulted to celebrity status from representing porn star Stormy Daniels against President Trump. The case not only was thrown out of court, but Daniels was ordered to pay almost $300,000 for Trump’s attorney’s fees and sanctions.

Last Friday, 48-year-old Avenatti was found guilty of extortion, wire fraud, and transmission of interstate communications with intent to extort up to $25 million from Nike by a New York jury.

In addition to Avenatti’s Nike conviction, he still faces two additional charges for allegedly stealing Stormy Daniels’ money advance from a book deal, and an alleged fraud case in California.

Fox News Channel’s Brit Hume tweeted a video clip on Friday and wrote, “How’d you like to be featured in this montage? Are the people in it capable of embarrassment?”

The Washington Examiner reported between March and May 2018, the lawyer averaged two interviews per day on mainstream media.
