Trump supporters are lining up at the Wildwood Convention Center in Wildwood, New Jersey, to hear President Trump speak on Tuesday evening.

Tuesday night’s event in Wildwood had record-breaking requests for tickets. First daughter-in-law Lara Trump announced Monday over 175,000 tickets have been requested, making it the most requested Trump rally in history.

For crowd control and traffic restrictions, Cape May County Emergency Management Coordinator Martin Pagliughi reported officials have been planning for Tuesday’s crowd the same as the city’s “big beachfront concerts.”

The Wildwoods Convention Center website states it is only capable of holding up to 10,000 people at a time, and Trump’s campaign website says that tickets are distributed to those who register on a first-come, first-serve basis. But not everyone who has a ticket will be allowed in. An overflow area outside of the convention center will be available for people to watch President Trump speak on the jumbo television.

Due to the high demand for ticket requests, President Trump has stated he will hold another rally in New Jersey. On Monday, hundreds of people were waiting in line at the convention center to get in for Tuesday’s rally. Some camped out on Sunday evening to ensure they get in to the rally.

“They’ve been in line since 2 AM…it’s almost reminiscent of when you used to camp out for concert tickets.”
