March for Life Photos, Signs, and President Trump’s Full Speech
President Trump is the first sitting U.S. president in history to speak at a March for Life event.
Friday’s event was the group’s 47th rally since the Supreme Court’s landmark decision Roe v. Wade in 1973. The decision made abortions legal in the United States.

I don’t care what anyone says or feels about Trump’s intentions. To hear the President of the United States make and stand on these undeniably true statements about the lives of the unborn is refreshing. #MarchforLife2020pic.twitter.com/O1Bt0HY4hQ

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and White House counselor Kellyanne Conway also attended the rally.
“All of us here understand an eternal truth: Every child is a precious and sacred gift from God. Together, we must protect, cherish, and defend the dignity and the sanctity of every human life. When we see the image of a baby in the womb, we glimpse the majesty of God’s creation,” President Trump told the crowd.
He continued, “When we hold a newborn in our arms, we know the endless love that each child brings to a family. When we watch a child grow, we see the splendor that radiates from each human soul. One life changes the world – from my family, and I can tell you, I send love, and I send great, great love – and from the first day in office, I have taken historic action to support America’s families and to protect the unborn.”

Every year since 1973, pro-life activists have traveled from all parts of the U.S. to Washington, D.C. to take a stand against abortion.
Tens of thousands gathered at the National Mall then marched to the Supreme Court to stand up for the unborn.
