Ghislaine Maxwell’s personal emails were hacked last year, but news of it was just released last week.

Maxwell is the alleged madame and longtime pal of deceased pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

Maxwell’s computer had hundreds of personal emails containing damaging information including the names of people linked to the trafficking case Jeffrey Epstein, according to the Daily Mail.

Maxwell, a British socialite and daughter of media mogul Robert Maxwell, was Epstein’s close associate for over twenty five years.

The disclosure that Maxwell’s emails were hacked was revealed in a letter written in early December by Ty Gee, Maxwell’s lawyer, to the federal court Judge Loretta A. Preska, who presides in the defamation case against Maxwell by Virginia Guiffre, Epstein’s accuser. The letter was made public last week.

Gee thinks the email addreeses were found in court documents by hackers, who then used the information to breach the host computer.

Maxwell, who was Epstein’s connection to powerful people, did not use Google, which can keep the authorities from obtaining emails, but used a secret server that increased the risk getting hacked.

Last September, the judge was asked by multiple attorneys not to release any court records pertaining to Epstein or to redact the client names. As many as 1,000 names could be implemented, one lawyer said.

Attorneys for Giuffre and Maxwell made a court appearance last week to agree on a time frame for the unsealing of more documents which includes depositions from over 24 people.

Gouffre’s attorney admitted in court last week Maxwell’s whereabouts are not known.

In December, Reuters reported Maxwell and others are being investigated by the FBI as part of the Epstein case.
