Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) made it perfectly clear what she and other Democrats plan to do with their time in office if the impeachment trial does not end the way they want: they will continue with more impeachment efforts.

Waters has been fixated on impeachment efforts since 2017.

“The subpoenas that I have issued that’s gone through the lower courts are now going to be heard at the Supreme Court in March,” Waters said in an interview on MSNBC Sunday.

“We will not stop. Whether or not that leads to another impeachment activity, I don’t know. But I know we must continue with the work that our constituents have elected us to come to Congress to do,” she promised.

Waters, the chairwoman of the House of Financial Services Committee, issued subpoenas for Trump’s business and personal records that are held at Deutsshe Bank, according to New York Times.

Trump’s attorneys have be blocking the subpoenas, resulting in the Supreme Court issuing a temporary blockage of the release of his records. In December, the court said it would handle the case, and is expected to issue a decision in June.

Last August, Waters told her supporters if they spotted any of Trump’s cabinet members to “push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
