President Trump invited the NCAA Football Champions to the White House on Friday, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
The LSU team honored the president with his own custom LSU jersey. Burrow thanked the president for inviting the team to the White House and presented the jersey to him.
The president made everyone laugh when he said, “I thought he was giving me the Heisman Trophy. He’s just giving me a jersey.”
He invited the football champions to the Oval Office to take photos behind the Resolute desk. “It’s been there long time, a lot of presidents, some good, some not so good. You got a good one now, even though they’re trying to impeach the son of a bitch,” Trump jokingly said, making everyone laugh.
“Can you believe that? You’ve got the greatest economy we’ve ever had, Joe — we’ve got the greatest military we’ve ever had, we rebuilt it. We took out those terrorists like your football team would’ve taken out those terrorists, right?” said the president.
