Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) couldn’t contain her excitement in the video she recorded of herself on the day of impeachment of President Trump.

Moments before she casted her vote to impeach the president, Tlaib posted the video and wrote,”Hey everyone. I am on my way to the United States House floor to impeach Trump. On behalf of my incredible district. Thirteenth district strong. Let’s do this!”

President Trump reposted the video and tweeted, “This is what the Dems are dealing with. Does anyone think this is good for the USA!”

Republicans pointed out their doubts about Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) claims of the Democrats being “solemn” about impeachment.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) wrote, “Democrats pat themselves on the back, shamelessly proud of their dishonest manipulation of the truth and a vote that has torn this country apart. This will go down as the weakest case for impeachment in history, justifying the founders’ fears of politically driven impeachment.”

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) tweeted, “Watching @SpeakerPelosi and House Democrats pretending they were somber about #impeachment was comical. It was a foregone conclusion because — as you can see — they just couldn’t help themselves. #Hypocrites”

Tlaib, who made it her mission to impeach President Trump, led a group of protestors in D.C. on Thursday morning. She told them, “We do have a president who thinks he’s king.”

Just hours after being sworn in Congress on January 4, 2019, Tlaib announced that she wanted to “impeach the motherf*cker,” 6 months before Trump even made the phone call to Ukraine President Zelensky.
