“I was wrong”... @Comey
This is EXACTLY why we must always be skeptical of politicians, pundits and the media. #WOW!!!!https://t.co/UgmwMnAS3g
The report found that there was “real sloppiness” exercised during the surveillance of Trump aides. Of this, Comey said, “I was overconfident in the procedures that the FBI and Justice had built over 20 years. I thought they were robust enough. It’s incredibly hard to get a FISA. I was overconfident in those.” He also admitted to being wrong last year when he repeatedly told the media that he knew the investigation was conducted in a “thoughtful, responsible way.”

Comey also claimed he came out victorious in a way because he is not currently in jail. He told Fox News, “Remember how we got here. The FBI was accused of criminal misconduct. Remember, I was going to jail, and lots of other people were going to jail.”
