During a town hall meeting, Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) met some opposition from her constituents for her support of the impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

Spanberger was interrupted after announcing, “The allegations against the president are incredibly, incredibly serious.”

“They’re bullshit!,” an attendee yelled.

“It’s crap!” said another person.

One man shouted to the freshman Democrat, “It’s a lie! It’s all lies!”

Spanberger, who is a former CIA operative, tried to convince the town hall attendees, “No one has dispelled or attempted to dispel or provide evidence that would exonerate the President.”

“He hasn’t done anything wrong!” someone said.

“Did you really say that? You have to prove you’re innocent?” one person commented.

Another man was heard saying, “You all have been trying to impeach this man since he got elected.”

“He’s been proven guilty,” some said, referring to President Trump.

“But if it’s such a polarizing issue, let’s put it to the voters next fall,” said another.

Last September, Spanberger co-authored an op-ed in The Washington Post with six other freshman Democrats that called for Trump to be investigated.
