Daisy Ridley, who played Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, recently stated “every sane person” has issues with President Trump.

In an article published in The Guardian last weekend, Ridley was questioned if she was “conscious” of which issues she could talk about since Star Wars is a property of Disney.

“No. I don’t feel I have to edit what I say. The things that make me angry are the things that make everyone angry. Everyone is annoyed with BoJo [Britain’s PM Boris Johnson]. Everyone has an issue with Trump, every sane person anyway,” replied Ridley.

“It’s not that I don’t talk about this stuff, but other people are so much more articulate than me and say it better,” said Ridley.

We think Ridley should keep her opinions to herself, as all actors and actresses should. But the 27-year-old British actress had to jump on the Trump-hating train like so many others who think it will gain them more star power to insult our president.

In addition to insulting more than half of America, Ridley denied that she had a privileged upbringing, which caused the millennial actress to get a lot of backlash on social media.

Mark Hamill has a ridiculously unhealthy fixation on President Trump — one look at his Twitter page is evidence of that.

Director J.J. Abrams, also a vocal Trump hater, denounced Trump in 2016, when Abrams wrote, “Never has there been a presidential candidate who stands in such complete opposition to the ideals of the Star Trek universe as Donald Trump. His election would take this country backward, perhaps disastrously. We need to elect a president who will move this country forward into the kind of future we all dream of: where personal differences are understood and accepted, where science overrules superstition, where people work together instead of against each other.”

Actor Anthony Hopkins said it best,”People ask me questions about present situations in life, and I say, ‘I don’t know, I’m just an actor. I don’t have any opinions. Actors are pretty stupid. My opinion is not worth anything. There’s no controversy for me, so don’t engage me in it, because I’m not going to participate.”
