Where is Adam Schiff? That’s the question Republicans were asking Monday morning when the  Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) was missing from the impeachment hearing.

Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) bashed Schiff for not being present, “You know how I know this is also a problematic experience? Just look over the past three weeks, when the chairman of the Intelligence Committee - who by the way is absent today, guess he can’t back up his own report - but he started his own hearing by making up the factual call.” Collins was referring to President Trump’s call to Ukraine President Zelensky.

Collins said, “Adam Schiff, when he told us he wasn’t gonna come, instead hiding behind his staff, he also told us that we’re gonna keep investigating because they know this is going nowhere in the Senate and they’re desperate to have an impeachment vote on this president.”

Republicans objected to the impeachment proceedings and called for their own hearings to question Schiff and the whistleblower who started the impeachment inquiries.

Watch:

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) appeared on Fox News, pointing out that Chairman Adam Schiff was prideful about being the special prosecutor in the impeachment so why wasn’t Schiff present on Monday morning? Why isn’t Schiff testifying before Congress like Mueller and Starr did? McCarthy also stated Schiff is abusing his power and intimidating people by putting their phone logs out.

Republicans put up large signs asking where Adam Schiff is in the impeachment hearing room.
