President Trump, who recently changed his residency from New York to Florida, was welcomed by thousands of cheering supporters at his Homecoming Rally on Tuesday evening at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

People began arriving at the BB&T parking lot as early as 7 a.m., even though the President didn’t take the stage at 7:30 p.m. The BB&T Center, which can hold up to 21,000 people, was filled to capacity with people wearing red shirts and caps. Some supporters wore shirts that read “Read the Transcript,” and “No Quid Pro Quo.”

According to Trump’s campaign manager Brad Parscale, nearly a quarter of the attendees were Democrats, and 27 percent were Hispanic.

The President promised the crowd that he wouldn’t allow the Liberals to change the name of Thanksgiving.

“But now we’re going to have to do a little work on Thanksgiving,” said President Trump. “People have different ideas. Why it shouldn’t be called Thanksgiving. But everybody in this room, I know, loves the name Thanksgiving. And we’re not changing.”

Trump gave many reasons that Americans should be thankful this year. “The economy is booming. Wages are rising. Crime is falling. Poverty is plummeting. Confidence is soaring. And America is stronger than ever before,” said President Trump. He also told the crowd about his adminstration’s effort to create more new jobs, building the border wall, and protecting veterans.

Trump also spoke about “Sleepy Joe Biden,” “the radical left Democrats,” the impeachment hearings, and his recent decision to grant clemency to three service members caught in the military judicial system.

Florida has 29 electoral votes, the largest of the swing states that will determine who wins the presidential election.

A big screen broadcasting President Trump’s speech was set up outside the arena for the massive overflow of supporters.
