Supreme Court Rules Against Democrats and Gives Trump More Time to Appeal Tax Return Demand
On Monday, the Supreme Court gave President Trump and his lawyers a legal victory by ruling that they have more time to file a full appeal in lower courts before a final decision is made on whether he must tur of his tax returns to House Democrats.

The decision now gives the President and his team until December 5 to finalize the appeal of a lower court ruling that he must turn over all his tax returns. Whether or not the appeal is heard by a lower court or if it will go right to the Supreme Court remains to be seen. No matter what happens though, this delay now pushes back the timeline so the Democrats in the House will not have the tax returns before the impeachment vote, which is expected by the end fo the year.
Democrats were predictably upset by this latest ruling and Republicans were happy with it. Many on both sides of the aisle took to twitter to voice their opinion of the highest court in the land’s ruling.
