Ahead of President Trump and the First Ladies visit to the Alabama vs. LSU college football game this weekend, a handful of anti-Trump demonstrators planned a protest outside of the Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium. At a park across the street, the left wing activist even setup a “Baby Trump” balloon. This balloon was 20 feet tall and had the President’s face on a baby wearing a diaper’s body.

In order to stop President trump and Melania from having to see the monstrosity, a 32-year-old Trump supporter, Hoyt Deau Hutchinson took a knife and cut an 8-foot slit into the balloon, rendering it impotent. For his patriotic action, Alabama police arrested Hutchinson. He was held on $2,5000 bond and charged with criminal mischievous.

This arrest caused immediate scorn from conservative circles. In support of Hutchinson, a GoFundMe page was set up called FREE HOYT to cover his legal bills. In 48-hours, Trump supporters from around the country had chipped in to raise around $40,000 at last count.

For his part, Hutchinson was incredibly thankful for the support. He has told the media that he will use the money to cover his legal bills, replace the balloon as mandated and donate the rest to the Republican party.
