Mitt Romney’s Burner Twitter Account Exposed
If you have seen a tweet on your timeline by political aficionado Pierre Delecto, you were actually reading the thoughts of failed Republican political candidate Mitt Romney. Romney revealed in an Atlantic article this week that he kept a secret twitter account saying, “What do they call me, a lurker?”
After this revelation, Ashley Feinberg from Slate, who in the past has dug up James Comey’s burner twitter handle went to work. She announced on Sunday night that she had found his account, “Pierre Delecto”.

The account only had 8 followers at the time of discovery but has since jumped to over 1,000 before the account was taken private. Mr. Delecto followed about 700 accounts, mostly politicians and journalists but also some members of Romney’s family.
The account only tweeted 10 or so times and all of those were responses to other people’s tweets. Most responses were supporting Romney’s candidacy, defending Romney, or bashing President Trump.
How sad. A US Senator created a fake name for Twitter and became "Pierre Delcto." Hiding behind a pseudonym is what kids, cowards, couch potatoes, or perverts like "Carlos Danger" do. https://t.co/E9ti4dUSZ1
