Over the weekend, Hillary Clinton stated Trump must be impeached and removed from office and if he’s not, he will be very hard to beat in 2020.

Hillary and Chelsea are currently promoting their new book, “The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience.” The mother daughter duo spoke at at a sold-out show at Portland’s Revolution Hall on Saturday about the book, but the audience quickly began asking questions about politics.

Hillary told crowd the reasons she lost in 2016 were because of voter suppression, sexism, and the Russian state. She admitted that Trump has an advantage in 2020 because of the current economy and low unemployment, and that impeachment was necessary because “it’s going to be very very hard because of all of the advantages he will have…”

When she was asked, Hillary did not name a candidate that she backed for 2020, but instead she said, “All that matter is that we win.” She stated, “If enough Republicans join the House Democrats to vote against Trump” it might “empower some Republican senators” to move forward with impeachment.

“I just want to see who can get the Electoral College, because it won’t do us any good to win the popular vote again,” said Hillary. “I actually think a number of our candidates could win the popular vote. But at the end of the day, as I know better than anybody, and as Al Gore knows, that is not the game. You’ve got to win the electoral vote.”
