As the impeachment witch hunt continues, American citizens are putting their money where their mouth is and giving record amounts to the Republican party. According to a report by Fox News, the Republican National Committee raised over $27 million in September, setting a new off-cycle record for either party.

This pushes the Republican party’s cash on hand to almost $60 million while the Democratic party is carrying over $7 million in debt. This comes in addition to the $125 million war-chest that the Trump campaign has amassed by Q3 of this year.

This is a direct response to Democrats in congress trying to circumvent the will of the American people by pushing President Trump out of office. They are convinced that they know better than their constituents and are taking it upon themselves to push the President out before the people elect him again.

There has also been a major effort by both grassroots GOP fundraisers as well as the leaders of the party. These include the GOP chair and co-chair, Ronna McDaniel and Tommy Hicks, along with Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale and Donald Trump Jr. The RNC is using some of this money for a “Stop the Madness” anti-impeachment campaign as well as to attack vulnerable Democratic seats in both houses of congress.
