In recent days, former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has viciously attacked President Trump. Romney takes issue with President Trump calling for China and the Ukraine to investigate shady business dealings by Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

On Friday, Romney tweeted about President Trump calling for foreign countries to investigate the Biden’s. He said that believing that the asks were “anything other than politically motivated”, “strains credulity”.

Saturday morning President Trump took to twitter to defend himself and attack Mitt Romney in the strongest possible terms. In two tweets the President asked if “someone would please wake Mitt Romney up”, said “he choked” in his campaign versus President Obama, and called him a “pompous ‘ass’” among other things.

This feud has been going on pretty much since President Trump was running for the Republican nomination. The ball is now in Mitt Romney’s court and it remains to be seen whether he will walk away from this now that President Trump has taken him to task or if he will escalate the situation.
