U.S. Adds 136K Jobs in September; Unemployment Drops to a 50-Year Low
September brought yet another month of job growth and a drop in the unemployment rate under the Trump Administration. The unemployment rate decreased by 0.2% to 3.5%, a level that has not been seen in America since the 1969. The Latino unemployment rate also dropped to historic levels. That number dropped to 3.9% which is the lowest it has been since 1973.

These numbers come out as many Democrats and the media seem to be pushing for a recession. They point to the U.S. – China trade war, a slowdown in manufacturing, and a volatile stock market as signs of coming doom ahead of the 2020 election. However, these numbers paint a much more positive picture of the U.S. economy.
All this comes amidst the Democrats trying to impeach President Trump. The business-friendly President responded to these numbers by referencing the statistics and sarcastically saying “Wow America, lets impeach your President (even though he did nothing wrong!).”
