While the last few days have undoubtedly been stressful for President Trump, they have also been very lucrative days for his reelection campaign coffers. The President’s son Eric Trump announced Friday on twitter that the campaign had raised $15 million since Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced that the Democratically held House would be seeking impeachment.

This is incredible news for the President and his supporters as it shows just how motivating the impeachment announcement is to voters on the right side of the aisle. While the Democratic presidential hopefuls are struggling to get up to 160,000 individual donors total to qualify for the November debate, the Trump campaign generated 50,000 new donors in less than 3 days.

This is concerning news to the Pelosi led Democrats. The Speaker, who has publically opposed impeaching the President as recently as a week ago, seems to have made a political miscalculation with her most recent announcement. Bowing to political pressure from the radical far left wing of the party seems to have motivated both current and new Trump supporters to give to the reelection campaign and show their dislike of the chaos in Washington.
