They fell for it. #UkraineTranscript #Barr
In the transcript, it shows that Trump talked about U.S. aid to Ukraine in relation to how much the U.S. provided versus other countries such as Germany. The two Presidents then have a conversation about Germany and its Chancellor, Angela Merkel. Following this, Trump changest he topic and begins talking about two different situations he is asking the Ukarian for help with. One is the Democratic email scandal and the other is the Biden’s dealings. At no point do these topics circle back to U.S. aid to the Ukraine.
After the release of the transcripts, Attorney General Bill Barr cleared the President of any wrongdoing. President Trump then celebrated the fact that he was proven to have done nothing wrong on twitter. He also wondered if the Democrats would apologize after seeing the details of the call.
Will the Democrats apologize after seeing what was said on the call with the Ukrainian President? They should, a perfect call - got them by surprise!
