On Monday, television evangelist Pat Robertson told President Trump to “move on” from his electoral loss, citing that he had become too “erratic” to lead the country.

During a broadcast for the “700 Club”, the Christian television figure was asked whether Trump should run again for the next election. Robertson disagreed by saying that his presidency was both a “mistake” and a “sideshow.” He then continued by saying that he would be betting on Nikki Haley to run for the 2024 elections. Robertson touted that Haley would become a “tremendous candidate.”

Despite his harsh criticisms, Robertson went on to recognize the President’s success. He went on to say that Trump had the ability and talent to make money, and even draw in large crowds. However, the Evangelist claimed that Trump is delusional and that he lives in an “alternate reality.” Roberston said that while some people would accuse Trump of lying about certain things, he claimed that for the President, those lies are, in fact, the truth. He cited several “lies” about Trump, including how the President claimed he had the largest crowd during his Inauguration Day. Robertson also cited that Trump thinks he is “popular” and that he was able to save the NBC Network from closing down with his show, “The Apprentice.”

The television figure claimed that Trump’s popularity among Evangelicals had led him to win the elections. During his administration, Robertson stated that Trump was able to do something good for the country, especially with the economy. However, he also described Trump as “very erratic, and he has fired people, fought people, he has insulted people, keeps going down the line.” He added that he was more of a “mixed bag.” With this, the Evangelist gave a piece of advice to the U.S. President, “You have had your day. It is time to move on.”

Robertson also accepted former Vice-President Joe Biden’s win. However, he believed that Biden was only used as a ploy to allow his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, to step in as President. In fact, the Evangelist does not believe that the former Vice-President would be in office for long.

Watch:

While Robertson slammed the President, Trump was still able to maintain overwhelming support from the Evangelicals. Robert P. Jones, CEO of the Public Religion Research Institute cited that the President was still able to maintain his support among White Evangelicals, while Christians of color would usually prefer Joe Biden. However, NPR noted that there is still growing support for Trump among colored communities, especially with Hispanic Catholics.
