Last week, authorities arrested a former Virginia candidate for grooming and kidnapping a 12-year-old child from California.

Law enforcement officers from the Fresno Airport Police and Homeland Security Investigations caught 40-year-old Nathan Daniel Larson kidnapping a child after he landed at the Denver International Airport from Fresno, California. According to the authorities, Larson was caught with the child while waiting for their layover flight to Virginia.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office also confirmed Larson’s arrest. In an official statement, the Sheriff’s office said, “Larson is currently in the Denver County Jail facing a misdemeanor charge of harboring a minor.” In addition, the Sherriff also noted that Larson is also facing other felony charges including child abduction, soliciting child pornography from a minor, meeting a child for the intention of sex, and kidnapping.

The officers explained that they were contacted about a child who went missing on Dec. 14 in California. During their investigations, the officers noted that the child might have been coerced into running away with an older man she met online a few weeks ago. Their investigation showed that the child might have been headed to the Fresno Yosemite International Airport for a cross country flight to Virginia.

They explained that Larson was able to groom and convince the 12-year-old to sneak out of her parent’s home. The suspect then asked for a ride-sharing company to drive him and the child to the Fresno Airport. There, he asked the girl to wear a wig as a way to hide her identity. He also asked the child to act disabled so she would not be able to communicate with anyone at the airport and only rely on Larson for interaction.

The authorities traced Larson’s steps, citing that the two caught a plane for Washington D.C. and were scheduled to have a layover in Denver. The Fresno police then contacted Denver police to look for Larson and the missing child. An officer, who was assigned to the local FBI Task Force was able to locate the suspect. Fortunately, the girl was found uninjured, and authorities have already made arrangements, and by Monday night, the child was reunited with her family.

During the investigation, authorities were able to discover disturbing information about the suspect. In fact, when the officers attempted to issue a warrant against the failed politician, his 69-year-old father assaulted the officers. In their search, the authorities were able to uncover Larson’s secret life, which includes him running a pornographic website that encourages pedophilia. They were able to recover photos and videos of children being raped.

Larson had previously run as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing District 31 as an independent party but eventually lost. In 2018, he sent a disturbing email to the then United States President George W, Bush. In his hate-filled “campaign manifesto,” the failed candidate who identified himself as a fan of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler aimed to establish “white supremacy.” In his email, Larson also advocated for the legalization of early marriage and child pornography. The suspect was eventually convicted and was sentenced to 16 months in prison.
