Joe Biden made another promise as to what he will do during his first 100 days of his administration if he ever gets into the White House. The former vice president promised that he would come up with some kind of masking plan. He said that he would make it mandatory to wear masks whenever possible. “My first 100 days is going to require—I’m going to ask for a masking plan. [I’m asking] everyone, for the first 100 days of my administration, to wear a mask,” Biden said in a video.

Biden said that from day one, he will be signing an executive order that would require the wearing of masks wherever possible. He can do that when it concerns federal buildings and facilities and interstate travel.

“We’re going to require masks wherever possible, but this goes beyond government action. And so, as a new president, I’m going to speak directly to the American people and say what I’m saying now,” Biden said even though he is not the President-elect yet.

“Wear your mask for just 100 days. It’s the easiest thing you can do to reduce COVID cases, hospitalizations, and death,” he added.

“Whatever your politics or point of view—mask up for 100 days. Once we take office. 100 days to make a difference. It’s not a political statement, it’s a patriotic act.”

It’s not clear how a mask mandate would change the way that the coronavirus is spreading right now. Most states have some kind of mask mandate already. Some, especially the states under Democrat politicians, have strict lockdown rules, yet that has not prevented a second wave.

This is also not the only thing that Biden is threatening to do during his first 100 days. He has also promised that he would be pardoning all the millions of illegal aliens in the country.
