In a story that should raise questions about Joe Biden’s fitness for the White House in more ways than one, it was revealed that the former vice president broke his foot while he was trying to pull his dog’s tail. Biden admitted that on Thursday during an interview with Jake Tapper of CNN.

“What happened was I got out of the shower. I got a dog. And anybody who’s been around my house knows, dropped—the little pup dropped the ball in front of me, and for me to grab the ball. And I’m walking through this little alleyway to get to the bedroom,” Biden explained.

“And I grabbed the ball like this, and he ran, and I was joking, running after him to grab his tail. And what happened was that he slid on a throw rug, and I tripped on the rug he slid on. That’s what happened,” he added.

The incident happened on Sunday in Biden’s home in Delaware, according to his office. CT scan later revealed that he suffered several hairline fractures in his foot after the injury. He is now observed to be wearing a walking boot. Biden said that doctors told him to wear the boot all the time but he finds it clumsy so he sometimes removes it.

The incident and the injury should raise doubts about Biden’s fitness for holding office. First of all, it casts doubt on his mental fitness. His revelation about how he got injured just supports the theory that he is already becoming senile.

The fact that he got injured so easily should also be worrying about his physical fitness to be the president. If he can get injured while inside his house, how can he expect to travel all over the world if he becomes president.

As usual, the media is covering up for Biden. They are not asking him the tough questions about his injury and his fitness. The media are framing the story as something cute and funny.
