Biden Breaks His Leg While Playing With His Dog
On Saturday, former Vice President Joe Biden broke his foot while playing with his dog, Major.
In a Twitter post by Kyle Griffin, a senior producer at MSNBC, shared a pool report in which the former Vice President went to see an orthopedist by Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists on Sunday afternoon after he slipped and sprained his foot. Moreover, the press, which covered Biden’s transition, was not allowed out of their vehicles. They also denied providing further information about the Vice-President’s condition.
Pool report: "On background from the Office of President -elect Biden: On Saturday Nov. 28, President-elect Biden slipped while playing with his dog Major, and twisted his ankle. Out of an abundance of caution, he will be examined this afternoon by an orthopedist."

His opponent, President Donald Trump, also wished Biden’s a fast recovery, “get well soon!” Trump wrote on Twitter while sharing a video of the former Vice-President leaving the doctor’s office.

In a statement from Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the Director and Executive Medicine of George Washington Medical Faculty Associates, he explained that Biden had sustained a “‘sprain” on his right foot. He was then referred to a different medical facility to undergo a CT scan.
Biden’s physician continued by saying that while the initial x-ray results show that he did not sustain any “obvious fractures,” O-Connor shared that they had conducted a more “detailed imaging’’ to confirm the true extent of his injuries. He then announced that his CT scan results showed that a small fracture was detected on the former Vice-president’s foot. The doctor also concluded that Biden will likely need to wear a walking boot in the next few weeks.
Generally, fractures are normal for people of Biden’s age. However, according to O’Connor’s diagnosis, the former Vice-President’s injuries are relatively mild. His recent injury added to serious doubts as to his capacity as the country’’s next Commander-in-Chief. In fact, Biden will serve as the oldest United States President at 78.
Earlier in his campaign trail, Biden was subjected to serious questions on whether he is experiencing a serious cognitive decline. This came after he experienced numerous stutters and gaffes during the entire campaign trail. Last year, he had also released a doctor’s report that urged him to keep his cholesterol at healthy levels. Doctors have also urged Biden to have a “vigorous” exercise to prepare himself in taking the role of the country’s next President.
Biden also plans to bring his two dogs to the White House as he and his team prepare to transition, despite Trump’s allegation of election and voter fraud.
