Climate Change Advocate Harrison Ford Uses Private Jet To Pick Up Son
Climate change activist Harrison Ford was reportedly seen landing his private jet plane just so he can pick up his son for the Thanksgiving holiday. The actor was seen in Boston while he was disembarking from his expensive jet plane. He was picking up his son.
It seems that Ford has completely ignored the recommendation for Americans to avoid traveling during Thanksgiving. Like other leftist elites, the lockdown rules, and restrictions during the pandemic does not seem to apply to Ford.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA ) just recently gave back Ford the clearance to fly. Back in April, Ford was involved in an incident where he recklessly crossed a runway endangering lives. The FAA restricted him from flying because of the incident.
The Star Wars and Indiana Jones actor has been very vocal regarding his advocacy about climate change. He has criticized President Donald Trump in the past. “The climate crisis is real — the weight of scientific evidence is overwhelming,” he said in an interview. “But evidence can be ignored, it can be manipulated. Leaders who choose to make climate change a divisive issue do it to protect the entrenched economic interests who profit from behavior that destroys our planet. It’s selfish. It’s short-sighted. It needs to stop… This shit is going to kill us,” he added.
Though he has been very vocal regarding his supporting climate change awareness, Ford continues to use this own private jet. Studies have shown that private jets produce 20 times more carbon dioxide when compared to passenger aircraft.
That’s not surprising when it comes to left-wing celebrities. They don’t usually practice what they preach. It’s the same thing with Greta Thurnberg for example. The young environmental activist made a big deal about using a yacht instead of flying around in jets to get her to the United States. But it was later revealed, the yacht needed a crew to fly around in jet aircraft too which contributed to the carbon emission.
