As expected Hollywood elites could not wait to share with the rest of the world just how excited they were after the mainstream media called the presidential race for Biden. Actors, singers, and other celebrities shared their feelings through social media the moment that they heard of the news. This celebration among the rich and famous people of Hollywood is unsurprising because they are mostly out of touch with what the rest of America is going through.

Elizabeth Banks, with her usual exaggerated outbursts, said that, “I’m so so so relieved. Congrats @JoeBiden I am crying at the thought of @KamalaHarrisas Vice President of the United States – wow wow wow,” Banks posted on her Twitter account.

Banks was not the only one who claimed to have cried upon hearing the news. Singer Pink tried to outdo Banks by saying that she is overwhelmed by Kamala. “This news has brought me to tears. I was overwhelmed with relief for this country. I was overwhelmed for Kamala and the inspiration that she brings to girls everywhere. Van Jones made me cry ugly tears. This country has so much work to do to come together. I pray we can do it,” Pink posted on her Twitter account.

Lady Gaga, who ridiculed people from the Southern states with a campaign video for Biden before the election, said that, “@JoeBiden @KamalaHarris and the American people, you just gave the world one of the greatest acts of kindness and bravery humanity has ever seen. ❤️ 🙌🙌 nothing but love for our new Commander in Chief and the 1ST female VP elected to the White House. Also, way to go PA.”

Lizzo posted a video of herself crying, saying, “There are a few times in this country when I’m hopeful. But I feel like every time I’m hopeful, it gets taken away from me… I think this is the end of a four-year term that felt like a thousand years. Whether you were blue or were red, that man didn’t care about you.”

There are other overly dramatic posts from celebrities as they tried to outdo each in showing the world how much they care about the country. But they have shown their true colors. They have done everything that they can to help Biden and to bring down President Donald Trump in any way that they can.
