The Daily Show shared a very disturbing video on its official Twitter account during election night after it became clear that President Donald Trump had won the state. “Do we have this technology yet?” Read the caption of the video. The video was borrowed from Star Wars and originally featured the Death Star destroying a planet. The video was edited and showed the laser being pointed at the State of Florida instead. It ended with the whole state blowing up.

The disturbing video which is calling for violence is calling for the death of millions of people who are living in the state was crudely edited. Though the show may claim that it was just a joke, a conservative doing the same for a state that voted for Biden would be largely condemned now, with the whole media apparatus going after anyone who dares to post anything like that.

Exit polls suggest strongly that Black and Hispanic voters made major contributions in helping President Trump win the state. The President’s efforts at campaigning among Black American and Hispanics seems to be paying off. The Democrats have long targeted Florida because if the state goes for Biden, it would definitely end the President’s reelection attempt. With the state going for Trump, there is still a chance that Biden will win, but the race has narrowed.

It is not surprising that many leftists are disappointed with Florida, and their intolerance is definitely showing now. Many of those on the left believe that those who disagree with them politically should be dealt with violently. The video that was posted by the show may be a joke, but it definitely shows their intent should they gain power.

The host Trevor Noah is actually a South African who has voiced very strong opinions about President Donald Trump. He has tried to use his influence against the President. It is likely that he is the one behind the video posted on the official Twitter account of his show. Noah is just one of the numerous diversity hires in the entertainment industry now who are trying to turn everything into a political statement.
