On Tuesday, PinkNews tweeted a video of 13-year-old CJ Duron. The boy claims that he is gender creative. He also declared that gender is over. Duron says that his gender identity is that of a male, but his gender expression is female. In the video, he says, “ To me, gender is over. We don’t really need it. It’s kind of unnecessary.”

This is not the first time that Duron has gained some prominence. When he was just 11 years old, Duron served as the grand marshal of the Orange County LGBTQ Pride parade. The boy claims that the experience was powerful and magical. “My advice for other LGBTQ kids is to stand out from the crowd and be unique, and it’s good to be unique and find friends who support you—no matter what,” Duron added in the video. That is dangerous advice since that means only listening to people who agree to one’s ideas no matter how stupid those ideas are.

The video was posted just a week after Joe Biden declared that an eight-year-old should be allowed to decide what his or her gender should be. “The idea that an eight-year-old child, a ten-year-old child, decides, you know, ‘I want to be transgender. That’s what I think I’d like to be. It’d make my life a lot easier—there should be zero discrimination,” he said to a woman who claims to be a mother of an eight-year-old “transgender daughter.”

Experts have warned that allowing children to choose their gender or even encouraging the idea that gender is just a social construct is dangerous. This is just part of the push to normalize sexuality among children. Biden’s endorsement of allowing children to choose their own gender is highly questionable because of how he has behaved around children during public events.

Biden has been seen to act strangely and even bordering on the inappropriate way he handled children during official events, which leaves to question if he has something to hide in that regard.

At the very least, the push for easing restrictions regarding children getting transgender treatment can also be a push to get a billion-dollar industry started.
