Outspoken director Spike Lee expressed his concern that if President Trump loses the election that he will refuse to leave which could lead to a civil war. He said this on Friday, during an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “From the very first person that died for this country, Crispus Attucks, in the Boston massacre, the very first person who died for this country was a Black man,” Lee said.

“We have been fighting, putting our lives on the line for every single war for the promise to be recognized as human beings and full citizenship. Here we are in this dreadful year 2020, and Black and brown people, Black and brown trans people, are being shot down like animals. Like it’s all right. And this guy in the White House and what he’s done and what this just level of hate, Anderson, it’s heartbreaking,” he added.

Lee goes on to say that he prays Trump will lose the election in November. He then claims that if Trump loses and it’s a close one that there will be “shenanigans” and that the President will refuse to leave. He claims that may lead to civil war.

“I can’t have a restful sleep. I mean, run of black and brown people being murdered, shot down for no other reason because of their skin,” Lee added. He was referring to the latest shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He is implying that the police shot the black man there because of his race. Nothing can be further from the truth. The man attacked the police officers who were trying to arrest him and he was reaching for what is assumed to be a weapon in his vehicle. The officers had no option but to fire on him. Those details will be left out by a leftist drone, like Lee, who will only believe what he has been programmed to believe.

There is definitely a chance for the conflict to escalate after the elections. Whether President Trump is reelected or not, it seems the unrest would continue and the two sides may start to clash.
