Failed Presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton warned former Vice President and Democratic nominee, Joe Biden, not to concede defeat in the upcoming 2020 general elections.

In an interview for the Recount, Clinton claimed that Biden should not accept his defeat no matter what the election results might be. The former Secretary of State claimed that “Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances.” She explained, “Because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually, I do believe he will win, if we don’t give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is.”

Clinton had grown bitter after President Donald Trump defeated her in the 2016 elections. While Clinton had the most number of votes, Trump was able to win the electoral college, a fact, that the former Secretary of State recognized the power of the Electoral college in her interview. She claimed that the results of the election all boils down to the decision of the Electoral College. In addition, Clinton also believed that it would be a “close fight” between Biden and Trump.

In a recent national poll by RealClearPolitics, data revealed that Biden had a whopping 7 percent lead against Trump in battleground states. However, as the economy started to recover, Trump was able to close the gap in polls.

Just like any other Democrats who are pushing for a nationwide vote-in mail system, Clinton went on to spread a conspiracy that Trump is planning to cheat his way in the November elections. She continued that the administration would be “messing up absentee balloting” to ensure a narrow lead in the Electoral College.

She also touted that the Democrats have set a “‘massive legal operation” to push for a vote by mail system. However, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy warned that such plans might not be possible given the massive number of votes which will arrive by mail. In a letter to the Democrats, DeJoy believed that some votes might not be able to make it on time for the counting.

As a result, Democrats pushed back and called for an immediate investigation on the issue. In a report from Breitbart News, DeJoy also stressed out that the ongoing riots in Democrat-led cities, such as Chicago, Seattle, and New York can cause even further delay.

Trump also expressed his growing concern that a nationwide vote by mail system can damage the integrity of the upcoming elections, and leave American votes susceptible to fraud. In the opening night of the Republican Convention, Trump also warned that Democrats might simply use the ongoing coronavirus outbreak to “steal the election”.
