A mother alleged two Democrat supporters of attacking her son in Wilmington Delaware during a Biden rally.

The police arrested two 21-year-old women connected to the attack after the pair were caught on video that showed the child’s mother running after as she accused them of harming her child and snatching his “Make America Great Again” hat.

The video was shared by a group “Students for Trump” responsible and was also shared by the presidential son, Donald Trump Jr. The Wilmington Police then launched an investigation on Friday, leading to the arrest of Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy. Both were charged with robbery, conspiracy, and endangering the welfare of a child.

The incident took place when the mother and son attended a counter-protest outside of the Democratic National Convention where former Vice President Joe Biden formally accepted his nomination on Thursday. According to the boy’s mother, the pair came up to them and stole her MAGA hat. The two women then taunted the boy, as he tried to get his mother’s hat. One man had tried to step in, but one of the women punched him. Only a portion of the altercation was caught on video, which immediately went viral. The mother ran after the pair in an effort to confront them for their alleged attack. The mother yelled, “You want to sucker-punch me?” The two then tossed the MAGA hat over a high fence. The mother then screamed that the two came after her son and demanded to call 911. One of the women, Amy, who hit the bystander, said that she had struck the man with a close fist, resulting in a laceration to his lips. Moreover, she also punched the woman who was taking the video.

However, the investigation revealed that the two were more aggressive than what was previously reported. According to the court documents, Amy had also taken the political sign from the mother while Winslow had stepped into stealing her MAGA hat. Fortunately, the boy was not injured, and that the White House had personally reached out to the child.
