Former Secretary of State and failed Presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton revealed that she does not have any plans to abandon her political aspirations.

In her statement for The 19th Represents Summit on Thursday, Trump’s former opponent was asked whether she was open to accepting a job if Biden is to win the upcoming 2020 presidential elections.

Clinton responded, “I’m ready to help in any way I can.” She also continued that Biden’s win would unite Americans in a way where party affiliations, ages, races, and gender would not matter. However, the former Presidential nominee’s statement should not come as a surprise after she had served alongside Biden in the Obama administration.

During her tenure as the country’s Secretary of State, Clinton had faced several controversies. One of which, and perhaps the biggest is her handling of the Benghazi terror attack. According to an investigation by the Federal Bureau, Clinton had used an “unsecured, non-government email system” to transmit classified government information, to which Clinton had attempted to destroy or withhold.

Earlier this year, Clinton had already offered her endorsement to the presumptive Democratic nominee. She went on to say that she believes Biden can carry out the changes that the country needs. Adding a slight jab against President Donald Trump, Clinton claimed that the country needed a leader who “listens’’ to science and prioritizes “‘fact or fiction.”

In his entire life, Clinton added that Biden was able to show compassion and care, suggesting that it is a trait that Trump does not have. In addition, Clinton also offered her support to Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris. In a social media post, Clinton wrote that Harris was able to prove herself as an “incredible public servant.”

Despite advocating as a party that protects people’s rights and supports racial equality, Biden had faced criticisms over his previous statements against members of the African-American community.

In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, he told the African-American host that “you ain’t black” if he is still undecided as to whether he would vote for him in the upcoming 2020 general elections.

Then, just last week, the former Vice President received a massive backlash after he declared in two separate media interviews that Black is not as diverse as compared to the Latino community. In a twitter post, Biden tried to offer a clarification, citing that he did not want to suggest that the African-American community is “monolith.”

The list of his problematic statements continues to go on. When he was asked whether he had taken a cognitive test to prove that he is mentally capable of being the country’s next commander-in-chief, Biden called the African-American host a “ junkie.” Up to this point, the nominee refused to offer an apology and claimed that the journalist “‘deserved”’ it.
