On Sunday, a group of leftist protesters gathered outside the private home of Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf in Alexandria, Virginia, to express their stand against the use of federal law enforcement in Portland, Oregon.

According to a report by the Washington Post, around 30 people gathered outside Wolf’s private residence on Sunday morning, awaiting “directions for a disruptive mission.” The report described the group of protesters as “mostly white people, young and old” and went in with their bicycle jerseys and tie-dyed shirts. The group chanted Black Lives Matter protest slogans and a message for Wolf. “We are not an angry mob, are we?” asked one speaker. “We are angry neighbors. And this man lives among us.”

One reporter noted, “They are here to protest against DHS sending federal agents to Portland after rioters continue to target the federal courthouse in the city.”

One speaker says there must be social/political consequences: “[Wolf] lives here quietly…and we need to do something about that.”

The protesters continued their “peaceful protest” and chanted, “How do you spell fascist? DHS!”

Another chant the protesters used went, “Whose the big bad Wolf?” playing a pun on Wolf’s name.

Earlier that Sunday, Wolf was interviewed by Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, who asked about the leftist’s “plans” on protesting outside Wolf’s house. “What are you doing? What can you tell us about this other protest, which is really trying to single-handedly attack you?”

Wolf responded by saying that the federal officers deployed in Portland, Oregon, are being targeted by the left every night. “Their personal information is on the Internet, put out there by these criminals, by these anarchists. They’re identified. Their families are harassed. They go where they’re staying. The doxing is prolific. And we’re trying to address that,” he said. Then he continued to say that he also sees them trying to do the same to him, but promised that he would not be deterred by it. “This is a tactic they have used for over three years, three-and-a-half years. We know what it is. We’re prepared for it. At the end of the day, we’re going to do our job; we’re going to do our mission. The American people deserve that,” Wolf continued.

Wolf has deployed federal officers to guard the Mark O. Hatfield US Courthouse in Portland, which has been vandalized and firebombed by left-wing rioters.
