Controversial NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace got a surprise at the NASCAR’s Cup Series All-Star Race. The event which happened this week took place at Bristol, Tennessee. When Wallace was introduced, there was loud booing from the crowd in the raceway.

Things did not improve for the mediocre driver after the race started. He crashed into a wall during the race, which is not surprising since he is not very skilled, but when he crashed, a cheer went up from the crowd watching the race. To make things worse for the attention-hungry Bubba, there were several Confederate flags that were on full display around the raceway. That was open defiance of the NASCAR order to have those flags removed. Bubba also demanded that those flags be taken down. It seems that the people of Tennessee are not going to listen to NASCAR or to Bubba.

An AP reporter was there to share what happened on Twitter. “Bubba Wallace was also booed when he was introduced, and many cheered when he crashed. NASCAR still has a lot of work to do to back up its position. The group Justice 4 Diversity held signs along Speedway Blvd. after the race,” Jenna Fryer said in a tweet.

It would be remembered that Bubba gained the publicity that he has always craved after he claimed that someone placed a noose in his garage. He took that as a sign that someone was threatening him because of his race. The supposed noose turned out to be a rope that has been in the garage for several months before, and there was also no way for anyone to tell that he would end up using it. Even after investigators have disproven his claim, Bubba continues to claim that it was a noose and that it was some sort of racial attack. It did gain him the publicity that he craved, which he cannot get through his poor driving skills.

Bubba also accused some NASCAR fans of being simple-minded, which is why it’s not surprising that he doesn’t have too many fans cheering for him. He’s not going to last very long in NASCAR if he’s going to antagonize NASCAR fans. Most fans of the sport are conservatives. Also, most leftists don’t watch the races. So, if Bubba wants his career to make progress, then he has to try not to offend the fans.
