Presidential candidate Joe Biden has a very radical proposal for housing in the United States. His proposal for his Democratic Party platform will put an end to suburban America as we know it if it is put in place. The proposal will force all communities to have low-income housing as a requirement.

The proposal is known as the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations and it has other equally horrible ideas. For example, it proposes to give instant citizenship to the more 20 million illegal immigrants in the country, no questions asked. To make things worse, the proposal will also give legal status to all refugees from whatever part of the world, without any question as to their status. In short, the United States would have open borders. Anyone can come over and stay when they want to.

But the one that would have the most impact on most Americans is the proposal to take Obama’s so-called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rules and put it into force. That means communities receiving federal funding will have to reexamine policies and correct those that have a discriminatory effect. The proposal will also hold financial institutions accountable for discriminatory practices when it comes to housing.

The language on paper may not be that threatening but the proposal simply means that most communities will be forced to build low-cost housings. To see what effect this would have on communities, one just has to look at many American cities now that are taken over by crime. Many of the crimes that are happening there are perpetrated in the areas with low-cost housing. The Democrats find it unacceptable that some parts of the country do not have to deal with that problem so they’re proposing to destroy suburban America and to just flood it with crimes. They also want communities to be flooded with cheap labor through illegal immigrants.

The proposal would see the planning and building of housing in communities become the business of the federal government. It would take away the power to plan communities away from the local governments and the people.
