Actress Patricia Arquette slammed President Donald Trump, calling him an illegitimate president and also accused House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of turning America into a “Russian colony.”

In a series of what seemed to be some form of a meltdown on Twitter, Oscar-winning actress Patricia Arquette called out President Trump and accused him of not being a “legitimate president.”

“Reminder—Donald Trump is not the legitimate president of the United States. He never has been. He never will be,” the actress wrote.

Then Arquette proceeded to attack House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R) by replying to his tweet. McCarthy tweeted a message to Democrats, saying that they cannot save America unless they believe in her. The actress was apparently triggered by McCarthy’s tweet and replied to him, saying that McCarthy turned the United States into a “cheapo Russian colony.”

Before that, the actress had already been replying to several tweets and spreading her left-minded opinions to her followers. She replied to a tweet that spread false rumors about President Trump resigning because he has coronavirus. Arquette, replied, saying that she’d take any good news.

On Sunday, she urged insurance companies to refuse to give financial assistance to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 that is found to have not worn masks in public.

This isn’t the actress’s first attempt to attack the president. Earlier this year, she called on her Instagram followers to join her for a one-day economic shutdown. She told her followers to refrain from buying anything for a 24-hour period as part of the #resist movement against President Trump’s administration.

The actress is one of Hollywood’s most vocal anti-Trumpers, including her sister and fellow actress, Rosanna Arquette. Back in March, Rosanna Arquette tweeted a highly offensive and accusatory tweet #TrumpGenocide. The hashtag was put to use to further blame Trump for all the coronavirus deaths and accuse him of mishandling the whole COVID-19 situation.
